On August 31, 2012,
photojournalist Mahmoud Zakaria Al-Basha died as a result of the Syrian army’s
shelling on the city of Al-Bab near Aleppo. Mahmoud Al-Basha was one of
the most prominent photojournalists who covered the events in the Seif Al-Dawla
neighborhood of Aleppo. |
