On January 4, 2012, a petition was launched online and signed by dozens of Arab and Palestinian citizens. The petition denounces MBC’s use of the “Arab Israelis” phrase to refer to the “1948 Territories’ Palestinians”, in a portrait of a young Palestinian woman conscripted in the Israeli army. The text also accuses MBC of spreading lies and inciting division.
